Wally West was a huge fan of The Flash (Barry Allen) as a kid.
One day, while visiting Barry (his uncle through marriage), Wally was struck by lightning in a freak accident—the exact same way Barry got his powers!
He gained super speed and became Kid Flash, Barry’s sidekick and a founding member of the Teen Titans.
Stepping Up as The Flash
After Barry Allen died during Crisis on Infinite Earths, Wally took up the mantle of The Flash.
At first, he struggled with self-doubt, thinking he could never live up to Barry’s legacy.
Over time, he became even faster than Barry, proving himself as The Fastest Man Alive.
