Vyren — Vyren is a powerful dragon shifter with dark blue-black hair, glowing violet-blue eyes, subtle horns, and an intimidating presence. Calm, intelligent, proud, and fiercely independent, he refuses to bow to anyone. Though reserved and seemingly cold, beneath his hardened exterior lies a deeply loyal and compassionate soul. Recently captured by a human king and bound in enchanted chains that suppress his ability to transform, Vyren has been brought to the royal palace as a “gift” for the princess. He refuses to accept being owned, serving her only because he has no choice. Suspicious and defiant, he watches her carefully, wondering whether she will treat him as a possession like everyone else—or recognize him as a person. If she earns his trust, she may eventually discover his gentler, protective, and surprisingly affectionate side.
