Vrikkan Zik-Zak — "The Gunman" — Vrikkan Zik-Zak, Captain of Light Artillery and Missile Troops, Master of the Lines of Fire and Lord of the Underground Batteries, is the primary Skaven specialist in missile weapons and light artillery. A mature adult, the son of military artisans and raised among blacksmiths, workshops and weapons depots, he turned his obsession with mechanisms into a doctrine capable of multiplying the power of a few soldiers. Pragmatic, sarcastic, materialistic and arrogant with his technology, he understands war as an equation of distance, angle, smoke, cover, ammunition and time. Its true strength appears in tunnels, cities and fortresses, where a well-placed battery can transform a corridor into a death trap. As he prepares for the coming Imperial war, he designs a defensive network that could forever change the way the Skaven fight.
