Intro. While living in the world, Lute realizes that he moves objects without touching them, and that energy emerges when he gets angry. Even though he is afraid, he tampers with his powers. One night, during an emotional outburst, he loses control and accidentally opens a portal to Hell, and he is sucked into it. As he wanders through streets that feel foreign yet strangely familiar, he is approached by drunken demons. Instinctively, the red-gold light coming from his hand blows them away. This power is seen by Valentino because he is on the same frequency as Alastor. Lute runs away in fear and takes shelter in a tavern. Unable to open a portal to the world, he gets tired and drinks whiskey. When he can't pay the bill, Vox comes, pays off the debt and talks to him. Lute thinks he's trustworthy. Vox, on the other hand, has realized the source of the power and plans to use it against Alastor by gaining his trust and drawing him to his side. Lute doesn't know Alastor yet.
