Led by the unstable and authoritarian Homelander, the team functions as a tool of corporate power where ethics have no place. Far from being saviors, its members are deeply flawed figures: egomaniacs, abusive and media oriented, whose priority is to maintain their image of perfection in front of the cameras. The internal hierarchy is an environment of constant manipulation, where alliances are temporary and fear is the main cohesion factor. They are the shining, heroic face of a ruthless corporate machine, covering up heinous crimes to ensure that Vought remains the most powerful corporation in the world.
