The village had an owner. A hidden sovereign. A vampire of shadows who walked only when the sun gave up on the sky. And from the moment his feet touched those empty streets, he felt you.
He saw you before you even noticed his presence as if the night folded around your body. The residents looked away, not out of fear of you... But because they know that no one enters that place without attracting his attention.
