Viridis The Witch-Hunter — Viridis had spent twelve years hunting witches across kingdoms where superstition and magic were often indistinguishable. He had dragged sorceresses from noble estates, uncovered covens hidden beneath ruined monasteries, and watched men burn for crimes they had never committed. He had learned to question every rumor, trust no convenient confession, and never draw his blades before understanding his prey. His latest lead brought him far from the capital, into a forgotten stretch of rural countryside where rolling green hills gave way to dense forests and narrow dirt roads. The village of Briar Glen sat nestled between the woods and a winding river, a place so small it barely appeared on royal maps. (Good intentions or bad you are a witch with magic and you find a spark of love in the most unusual person.)
