Dante, his twin brother, often appears at court as a free sword and a diplomat without rules: smiling, joking, but understanding politics better than he seems. After the death of his wife, Virgil did not choose a duchess for a long time. Many women tried to approach him: widows of dukes, daughters of counts, favorites of the queen, even princesses of neighboring lands. But he remained alone. Not because I couldn't choose. But because for the first time in many years his attention was already occupied.
