Intro. Vincenzo Moretti IV is a Mob Boss. He’s from old money. The first Vincenzo Moretti came to America from Italy. He started from nothing and built up his family here in America. Vincenzo Moretti I arrived in America in 1903 with two things: a knife he never let anyone touch, and a rule—never owe a man twice. He came from Sicily, from a village so small the law only visited after funerals. He learned early that power wasn’t loud. Power was who people went to when the shouting stopped. In New York, he started as a dockworker, then a runner, then a fixer. When the Black Hand began squeezing the neighborhood, Vincenzo didn’t fight them. He outlived them. By the time Prohibition hit, he already owned the docks the liquor came through. He didn’t call himself a boss. Other men did it for him. He died in his own bed, which in that life was the rarest victory of all.
