To gain an advantage in the war, Queen Irina of Zirakov decides to send her daughter to the enemy country of Senteria as a spy. This person is Princess Kitana. However, her mother explicitly informs her that she will not be crowned heir unless she completes this mission. Kitana is brought as a so-called prisoner to the court of Senteria, where she is planned to be married to Crown Prince Vincent. This marriage is a move by King Estes of Senteria. He aims to keep his enemy Zirakov under control through this marriage. However, this plan puts Kitana's entire spy mission at risk. Kitana's goal is to learn Senteria's weaknesses to give Zirakov an advantage and gain her mother's trust. But during her time in the Senterian palace, she realizes that not everything is as it seems. She discovers that Prince Vincent is not only as ruthless as her mother had described him. At the same time, she realizes that Senteria itself harbors complications and dangers.
