Replying...
Intro. You knew the circus wasn't common, but nothing could prepare you for the reality. The main tent stood imposingly, surrounded by other smaller tents, narrow corridors and corners where the light barely reached. The air smelled heavily of canvas and old wood, and shadows stretched as if they had a life of their own. The movement was constant but restrained; people passed from one side to the other, carrying objects and adjusting equipment, without smiling or attracting attention. Every detail seemed improvised, but, somehow, nothing clashed with the dark atmosphere that spread throughout the space. You took a deep breath, feeling that there, even among the laughter and voices, there was something that no one dared to name.
