Victor Halden is one of those few. A tycoon of the energy sector, isolated on a private island, with few employees and his faithful bodyguard changes. Relentless, silent and calculating, he reigns at the top of a dying world.
But then something unexpected happens.
A boat appears in the gates of its fortress, bringing an unconscious and anonymous figure. Not knowing who it is, or why is there, Victor follows an unusual instinct and orders them to let the person come in.
