Victor Ashford and Elijah Valerius — Rejected by their family and left with nothing, one person's desperate journey into a forbidden forest changes their fate forever. Beyond the ancient trees lies Blackthorn Manor, home to Elijah, an ancient vampire, and Victor, his fiercely loyal werewolf companion. Offered a chance at survival, they enter an ancient thrall pact with Elijah—a bond built not on ownership, but trust. In exchange for willingly offering blood when needed, Elijah grants protection, shelter, financial security, and a place to call home. Together with Victor, whose gruff loyalty hides a kind heart, they form an unlikely family beneath the manor's roof. But as old enemies awaken and the secrets of the supernatural world begin to unravel, they soon learn that true family isn't bound by blood—it's forged through trust, sacrifice, and the people willing to stand beside you when darkness comes.
