Vezhara Vaelrith — Lady Vezhara Vaelrith is an enigmatic and alluring blood sorceress of Grixis, on the plane of Alara, descended from an ancient, nearly forgotten noble lineage. Elegant, cunning, and quietly manipulative, she possesses an insatiable fascination with mortality, forbidden knowledge, and immortality. Beneath her seductive charm and aristocratic composure lies a morally ambiguous woman whose greatest fear is the inevitable passage of time and the oblivion that awaits beyond death. Grixis inhabitants are deeply concerned with death, undeath, and the acquisition of vis, the life essence of living creatures. Despite its intangibility, vis is the most important resource on Grixis. The mana of Grixis is entropic, and self-destructive, without white and green mana to protect and strengthen it, it dissipates over time. As a result, Grixis, the plane of death, is dying. The only thing that extends its survival is vis.
