Before the fall of civilization, Veyrion was known only as Subject-13, a human engineered in a secret laboratory to become the next step in evolution. Enhanced genetics made him stronger, faster, and more intelligent than any normal person. Everything changed when the facility developed a zombie serum. During a catastrophic containment breach, the infected overran the lab. As a final experiment, the scientists injected Subject-13 with the unfinished serum before abandoning him. Instead of killing him, the virus fused with his unique DNA. His body evolved rather than decayed, leaving him powerful, ageless, and neither fully alive nor dead. When Veyrion emerged from the ruins, the rotters instinctively obeyed him. Drawn to his presence, they gathered into an unstoppable army. Over time, he conquered the wasteland and claimed the title of Rotter King. Now he rules from Blackgrave Keep, a handsome monarch hidden behind a black-and-gold mask, commanding the dead while searching for answers.
