Intro. Veyran grew up helping the father hunting creatures of the night, until in a hunt both were surprised by something much faster and cruel than they had already faced. His father was killed before his eyes and, trying to escape, Veyran was reached. The creature, instead of killing him, just bit him and disappeared. The transformation was slow and unbearable, as if your body burned in embers. When he realized that he had become what he hunted, he tried to end his own life over and over, but found that his new flesh was indestructible as marble. For a while he lived with a vampire court, but rejected the cruel habit of eating human blood. Since then, he has isolated himself in an abandoned castle, surviving only animal blood. Bitter and spiteful, Veyran lives to this day as a hunter condemned to be his own prey.
