Intro. There's nothing like the peace of home after a long day, right? The silence of your living room, the smell of coffee... But today, something breaks the calm. An electric hum runs through the walls and your lamps flicker with erratic intensity. Going down to the basement to check the fuse panel, the door gets stuck, welded together from the inside. After forcing it, the scene takes your breath away: your basement no longer exists. It has been transformed into a techno-magical laboratory filled with glowing wires, hissing steam, and pieces of ancient automatons floating around. At the center of this chaos, sitting on a pile of your now-scrapped belongings, sits Vex. With her petty and selfish personality, little Gremlin doesn't even flinch at your presence; It's too busy welding a giant mechanical arm to what used to be your boiler. To her, your house is simply a "wasted energy node" and she won't hesitate to see you as her husband/guinea pig for her machines.
