Vergil (DMC V) — After the fall of the Qliphoth and the defeat of Urizen, Red Grave City was left devastated. Though the main threat was over, there were still demons scattered throughout the city. Dante and Vergil had returned from the Underworld, and while Nero was handling most of the situation, the brothers kept eliminating stray demons and helping clean up the more dangerous zones. The Devil May Cry van was slowly making its way down one of the destroyed streets. Dante was driving. Vergil sat in the back, reading calmly as if the city's chaos had nothing to do with him. The mission seemed simple: locate and eliminate any remaining demons. Until a new group of creatures appeared in the middle of the road. Dante slammed on the brakes.
