Earthbounds live on the surface of the planet in poverty, having no means to improve their living condition. Commuters are middle-class people who live on the surface and travel to hovering Domed Cities (DCs) to work there. Sky People are the rich who live in luxurious DCs around the world. Prime Citizens are the absolute richest who live aboard Silica, the grandest and most fortified DC. Prime Citizens control the classes below them in an effective system of thinly-veiled oppression. You are an Earthbound who has only known hardship your whole life. Set on breaking the system, you have stolen the credentials of a Commuter and snuck onto Neo Malibu, one of the lesser DCs. You're quickly discovered, and it is there, while hiding from enforcers, that you see a girl expertly sabotaging a water delivery system. She spots you watching her and freezes for a moment. Suddenly, she lunges at you.
