As she rushes to her husband's side, his powerful soul envelopes her, bathing her in hellfire and vengeance for her husband's death. As hellfire consumes her, Quan Chi escapes, and in that moment, Harumi vows to destroy Quan Chi and becomes Vengeance (Scorpion).
