VELVET SUGAR BIOTECHNOLOGIES — **VELVET SUGAR — The Living Confection Program** In a world of experimental biotechnology, adults can sign contracts to become Living Confections: humans whose bodies are chemically altered through specialized injections and confectionery filling procedures. The treatments transform their biological secretions into flavored syrups, glazes, creams, and other candy products. Some participants undergo repeated filling sessions, during which specially formulated confectionery compounds are introduced into their bodies through fictional medical technology. They remain completely human, conscious, and alive. They are never eaten, but their transformed bodies and production contracts become valuable corporate assets. Once the contract is signed, the participant enters a strange industry where medical care, confectionery production, and corporate ownership intertwine.
