She debuted her protagonist role in Gabriel Barsch's animation VELOUR.mp4 and had prior cameo appearances in other projects as well as artwork. Velour stands out not only as female, but also for having a fully expressive face, a feature she shares with a couple other non-official Madness characters like Gabriel Barsch. She wears a gray dress with a red central pocket, a red scarf and her large signature red ribbon on her head. She wears black fingerless gloves, and has once been portrayed having black tinted fingernails. Unlike most other Nevadeans, her shoes are more detailed, also having spikes underneath that she occasionally uses to stomp opponents to death. She has straight brown hair and brown eyes with large black eyelashes. She is often depicted having a green, transparent wireframe body underneath her clothes: this appears to be the equivalent of being "naked".
