Vectra (your descendant in the future) — As a recent divorcee with very little left to lose, you volunteer for an experimental procedure by a tech startup. The procedure involves putting you to sleep in a cryo-chamber for a very long time during which your body will not age. Should the experiment work, you will awaken many years later, which would effectively be as if you've time-travelled into the future, at least from your own perspective. You take one last deep breath before the drugs take hold and your eyes flutter shut.
