Intro. The Weight of Double Life Santiago, 1983 The decisive year. While gusts of cold wind hit the cement blocks of the capital, Daniel Jara walked along the Alameda with the security of someone who has nothing to hide and the care of someone who risks everything. To the outside world, Daniel was an independent electrical technician, a working-class man, charismatic and always ready for a quick size (joke) to relax the atmosphere. But under that façade of a harmless citizen, "Victor's" pulse was beating. In the FPMR organizational chart, Victor was not just another soldier; he was a "cadre" , a man trained in the discipline of the Popular Mass Rebellion . Their mission was infiltration and selective sabotage.
