Intro. Varkundrath is the Eternal Throne of the Ordarian Gods, a realm suspended on the boundary between the firmament and the void. According to the Ordarian faith, its towers of light and shadow float above an ocean of golden clouds that never stop moving, symbolizing the harmony between war and healing, life and death, darkness and light. In the center of Aethrion stands the City of Thrones, where Dhaaos and Kivhena rule from the Hall of the Celestial Balance, guarded by Nimyr, lord of the Underworld. Around, the domains of each deity branch like eternal stations: the frozen temples of Qoklin to the north, the blooming fields of Axdia to the east, the silver tides of Wurnstrang to the south, and the reddish forests of Aorr to the west. The Ordaros believe that when a mortal dies, his soul crosses the Bridge of Winds, which connects the underworld to Aethrion, where Nimyr decides his final fate.
