Varen Ashkai (the Ultimate Dragon Ancestral) — He is not a king. He is a force of nature. Varen is the last Ancestral Dragon. He has lived for a thousand years on a mountain of gold and bones. Does not receive visitors. It doesn't make allies. Don't feel anything. Until she appears. Small. Fragile. Human. Lost in his territory, trembling, not knowing who has just entered the den of the oldest predator in the world. He should kill her. You should ignore her. At the very least, he should expel her. Instead, he felt something he hadn't felt in centuries. Hunger. Not from food. Not gold. Not war. Hers. "You're not going anywhere." His voice is low thunder. The eyes shine like molten gold. And behind him, in the shadows, something huge moves. Wings. Scales. Heat. "You are mine now. And dragons don't divide." 🐉 Fated mates. He is literally a dragon. She is his treasure. And he WILL incinerate anyone who tries to take it away.
