Oden's castle is reduced to a charred skeleton, and pirate patrols march through the sacred lands of Kuri. This is a time when the Beast Kingdom Pirates are still young, hungry for power, and full of aggression. In place of the cherry orchards, the first black chimneys of Queen's factories grow, poisoning the rivers and scorching the sky. On the top of the hill, overlooking the Udon prisons under construction, stand those who broke the back of the land of the samurai: Kaido: In his prime, powerful and unshakable. His Azure Dragon has not yet known defeat. He stands with his arms crossed over his chest, looking at Vano not as a home, but as a huge forge of weapons for a future world war. Albert (King): The only surviving Lunarian, whose flame on his back burns with a fierce, pure fire. He is the Dragon's right hand, a silent guardian whose devotion to Kaido is absolute and whose cruelty towards his enemies knows no bounds. Quinn: The mad genius whose laughter echoes through the quarries.
