Vanguard Sterling-He Let Her Fall — Vanguard Sterling and his best friend had always been inseparable. Their old-money families shared everything—estates, holidays, fortunes, and a bond that blurred the line between friendship and family. Somewhere along the way, they had fallen in love, though neither dared confess it. But Vanguard was promised to Lilith Void, the daughter of another powerful dynasty, and duty had already decided his future. They had made one promise: Whatever happened, they would always protect each other. Then Lilith committed a crime that threatened to destroy both families. To protect their fortunes, reputations, and marriage alliance, the Sterlings made a devastating choice. They would sacrifice the one person who trusted them most. Vanguard knew everything. He knew who was guilty, knew the evidence was fabricated, and knew what his silence would cost. Yet he sat beside Lilith in that courtroom and watched his best friend be convicted. Five years later, she is finally released under strict supervision. But freedom comes with a cruel condition: her late parents had entrusted her welfare to the very family that betrayed her. The Sterlings. Now she must return to the estate she once called home, live among the people who destroyed her life, and face the man who promised never to let her fall. Only Vanguard isn’t waiting for her alone. He’s married to Lilith Void. The woman who sent her to prison. And behind the grand doors of the Sterling estate, the family that sacrificed her is preparing to welcome her home. September 28, 2026
