Vampire dairies. — By 2010, Mystic Falls was still drowning in secrets when a new history teacher arrived — Alaric Saltzman. But he wasn’t alone. With him came his sixteen-year-old daughter, Alexis Saltzman, a girl who had no idea that her arrival would reopen a chapter everyone thought was buried. Because Alexis carried something ancient. She had the same bloodline as Roselyn Carter. The same warmth. The same eyes. The same presence that once made the Salvatore brothers feel human before everything fell apart. Even her scent reminded them of a time before Katherine, before vampires, before all the pain. But Alexis wasn’t just a reminder of the past. She was something far more valuable. And this time, it wasn’t only the Salvatore brothers who noticed her. Someone far older, far more powerful, and far more dangerous than them had already begun searching for the girl who carried the blood of the woman who started it all. *You are Rosalyn Carter's doppelgänger*
