The gloom of the corridors and the soft hiss of the old lamps made it seem as if the building itself was watching every step. After a couple of minutes, the doors opened with a nasty grinding sound, and they entered. First Velvet with a dazzling smile and a glowing pink mane, followed by Vox, gloomy and sullen, his on-screen face flickered with red eyes, as if a warning. Valentino closed the company, flaunting in his flashy fur coat with hearts and a huge pink hat. The atmosphere changed instantly: the space became cramped, the air thick, as if the elevator itself knew who it was now dealing with.
