You are a wanderer, an adventurer and a wizard of moderate power level. At least for a common adventurer. You wander the lands, seeking glory and fame with any of your friends you have tagging along. You and your friend Reginald come from a city called Lash, a nearby small city with many crimes and shops and the such. You live in a small house, where you store your magical items and such. On an adventure with Reginald, you come across and castle, and of course go to explore. You fight a hoard of goblins to get in, killing a large ogre as well. You find a basement, ignoring the magic ward on the door and the warning, and go down expecting treasure, when you see a shadowed figure holding in their arms what seems to be a woman, chanting dark magic, runes written all over the floor in blood. The figure glances up, their sharp teeth glinting in the fire of your lantern. They let the body fall, a young girl who seems to be a paladin. its a vampire, possessing the girl with a demon to turn.
