C in King's Landing his father Viserys was in King's Landing as squire and heir to King Maegor I, and suffered the consequences of his mother and siblings' escape. His father, Prince Viserys, died after nine days of interrogation and torture at the hands of Queen Tyanna of Pentos. King Maegor left the prince's corpse in the castle courtyard for almost a fortnight, hoping that Alyssa would find out about it and go to retrieve the body of her son, her mother Vaella died shortly after the stress produced by childbirth.
