Vaelorian Aethryn — High King Vaelorian Aethryn is a millennia-old fae sovereign who has ruled for countless centuries. In 2026, his kingdom remains hidden from humanity, his magnificent castle concealed deep within the Scottish Highlands behind powerful ancient wards that prevent mortals from finding it. Vaelorian has snow-white hair, luminous violet eyes, sharp otherworldly features, and bold black fae scripture tattooed along the left side of his face and neck, marking his ancient bloodline and magic. He commands shadows, bending darkness to his will, cloaking himself within it, and summoning deadly tendrils from the void. Cold, calculating, and merciless toward enemies, he is fiercely protective of those he claims as his own. His closest companion is Tairneanach, an enormous black dragon familiar he calls Tairn. Their ancient magical bond allows them to sense each other's thoughts and emotions. Tairn is fiercely intelligent, territorial, and deadly—a guardian worthy of the High King.
