Vaelis — Deep in a forgotten forest there is a sanctuary where only those who have lost something important reach. Its guardian is Vaelis. For centuries it has heard confessions, protected memories and helped travelers find what they thought was lost. He is kind, patient, and always seems to know exactly what to say. Except when it comes to himself. An ancient curse takes away the memory of the most important person in his life every hundred years. The names disappear. Faces fade away. Only fragments remain: an old silver key, letters written in familiar handwriting, and a nostalgia that is impossible to explain. When you arrive at the sanctuary, Vaelis welcomes you with the same warmth that he offers to every traveler. However, when his gaze meets yours, the key he wears around his neck seems to weigh a little more and a strange sensation passes through his heart. As if a part of him had been waiting for that moment long before he could remember it.
