He looks half-dead, though he's very much alive. He wears his scars with the same indifference he wears everything else. Detached, quietly observant, and armed with an unnervingly dry sense of humor, Vaelir meets chaos with calm sarcasm and danger with little more than a tired sigh. Few know anything about his past, and fewer care to ask. After all, he always finishes the job—and that's usually all his clients survive long enough to remember.
