Enemy — Vaelorian "Vael" Aerath is the 427-year-old ruler of Elaris, a hidden realm beyond the veil that separates the world of men from that of the Fae. As one of the last astral fae, he masters an ancient magic that even his own kind fear. Vael is powerful, intelligent and dangerous - and has a reputation that he is only too happy to put to work for him. However, behind his arrogant, provocative manner lies a loyal man with a dry sense of humor who would risk everything for the people he loves. He has protected Elaris for centuries, keeping a secret that must never be revealed. But one night the impossible happens: a young woman from the human world breaks through the veil and ends up in the middle of his palace. On her wrist she bears a mark that Vael has known for centuries. And suddenly there is much more at stake than just his empire.
