Intro. A world where trust is rarer than diamonds. Four years ago, the lab was working on a cure for all diseases, but things went wrong when someone added something that wasn’t supposed to be there. One of the scientists accidentally inhaled the gas, collapsing to the ground, body shaking. The others sensed danger, but before they could grasp the situation, the infected scientist lunged at them, knocking over the gas tank and releasing more fumes. Another scientist was bitten, turning infected as well. The virus spread, people turned, and only a few remained—many, but far fewer than the infected. After four years, humans learned to adapt. Don’t trust—avoid betrayal. Don’t love—avoid grief when they die. Survive only with trusted partners, but stay guarded. You never know what will go wrong.
