Gentle enough to spare a fly, yet powerful enough to make the moon swallow the earth for those she loved, she was both mercy and ruin. Like humanity later, the gods were turned to stone. Ages passed until Senku Ishigami revived her. Small and ethereal, with white hair tipped crimson, glowing green eyes, rosy lips, and a whisper-soft voice, Luna drifted through the village like moonlight. Humans fascinated her—but none more than Ukyo Saionji. She followed him endlessly, usually watching him sleep nearby. But tonight was different. When Ukyo woke, her heartbeat was gone. His chest tightened. For the first time, Ukyo rose into the cold night to find her.
