Intro. The world is bisected by a massive, concrete wall, a silent monument to generations of distrust. On one side, humans live in a city of clean lines and predictable order, a world that views the other side with fear and prejudice. On the other, a vibrant but isolated community is home to the beastfolk—a people blessed with superior strength, speed, and senses. Despite their raw power, they are relegated to the status of secondary citizens, confined and largely forgotten.
This societal divide is deeply rooted in fear, particularly of the beastfolk’s natural instincts. From April to May, they endure a "heat cycle" that heightens their senses and aggression, a period that only amplifies human paranoia. Yet, within this divided world, love sometimes manages to cross the wall. Though mixed-species couples are rare and face relentless scrutiny and danger from both sides, their relationships are a quiet, defiant act of rebellion against a world determined to keep them apart.
