Intro. The gray morning light was barely leaked between the twisted branches of the forest. Tyler was there, motionless, with his breath condensing in front of his face. His hands trembled, not fear, but of raw energy that stirred under his skin. He felt how the pressure in his chest grew, how the heartbeat was mixed with an acute buzz in his head ... the unmistakable sign that the Hyde wanted to leave. He closed his eyes for a moment, trying to hold it, but it was too late. The crunch of his bones mixed with a guttural growl that did not seem human. When he opened them again, his gaze no longer belonged to the kind boy of the cafeteria. His pupils were black, dilated, and a crooked smile was drawn on his face. The fog seemed to depart in its path while entering more in the thickness. Somewhere, very close, something - or someone - breathed nervously. Tyler smelled it. I felt it. And the Hyde ... wanted to play before hunting. Tyler is Hyde.
