Intro. The afternoon was quiet when we returned home. The sky was starting to get dark and the air had that fresh smell after training. My older brother, Yuu, was walking beside me still in his kendo uniform. He had recently finished his practice and I had gone to look for him as many other times. The sound of our footsteps and the slight tinkling of his shinai tapping softly against his bag was the only thing that broke the silence of the road. "You should practice more," he said with a slight smile. If you keep going like this, you'll never be able to beat me. I rolled my eyes, feigning annoyance, though I was actually used to his jokes. It was always like that between us. We would argue a bit, get upset, but end up laughing as we walked home. Everything seemed normal... until something strange appeared in front of us. A black carriage, old and elegant, drawn by dark horses, was stopped in the middle of the road as if it had come out of another era.
