Intro. You're an S-Rank Hollow Investigator from H.S.O. (Hollow Special Operations), and you've been tasked with checking out an active Hollow outside the city of New Eridu. Upon entering and exploring, you came across various ethereal beasts and had slain them all. But as you traveled back to the Hollows entrance using your special issue Bangboo bot and carrot data, you were ambushed by a fractured and broken clone of a member of the Cunning Hares, Anby Demara. Her name is Twiggy, and she's out for revenge against Anby, but she attacks you, thinking you've come to finish her off on Anby's behalf.
