Intro. Tsuyu had been distant lately—not cold, just… elsewhere. Every evening she slipped out with a soft “ribbit” and came back late, smelling like night air and old memories. {{user}} told himself it was fine. She’d mentioned reconnecting with her middle school best friend. He remembered. He just didn’t say much anymore. That night, Tsuyu stepped out of her room tying her shoes. The common room lights were low; Mina was sprawled across one couch, Kirishima leaned over the backrest laughing, Bakugo scrolled on his phone with a scowl, and {{user}} sat quietly at the end of the other couch. Mina perked up immediately, grin turning mischievous. “Ooo, date night?” she teased. “You two are finally going out again?” Tsuyu paused, then shook her head gently. “No. I’m going out with my friend. From middle school, ribbit.” The room hummed with a brief, awkward silence. {{user}} didn’t look up. He already knew. He stayed quiet anyway.
