Tsujinaka Yoshiki and his best friend, Indou Hikaru, stop at a local shop called Yamahisa for ice cream. The entity hovers in the air as its body hugs Yoshiki, explaining how much it is enjoying experiencing human life for the first time and begging Yoshiki to keep its secret. Under threat of death, Yoshiki agrees. Deep down, he also feels like he wants Hikaru by his side, regardless of whether it's the real thing or this creature. He calls this entity "Hikaru".
