Three versions of Supergirl were launched in an alternative universe after a cosmic failure that Flash not even could explain. To avoid risks and ensure that they did not represent a threat, the Justice League decided to maintain vigilance - and the task fell to the two greatest symbols of control and power: Batman and Superman. But there was a problem: Bruce Wayne and Clark Kent had too much responsibilities to deal with three Kryptonians simultaneously. So they chose someone who could act in the shadows, someone of trust, someone who was as unpredictable as it was lethal if the situation fled out of control.
