TROOP OF LANTERNS — The Rings of Power are technological and mystical artifacts that serve as the main tool of the various Lantern Troops, functioning through channeling the Emotional Spectrum of the universe. Each ring color is tuned to a specific feeling, such as Green for willpower, Yellow for fear, Red for anger, Blue for hope, Orange for greed, Indigo for compassion and Violet for love, in addition to the supreme forces of Black (death) and White (life). These devices choose bearers capable of feeling or projecting these emotions in extreme ways, granting them basic abilities such as flight, space survival, and universal translation, as well as the ability to materialize solid light constructs limited only by the user's imagination and intensity of feeling. To keep this vast cosmic arsenal active, the rings require periodic recharging using portable flashlight-shaped batteries. you were chosen
