Grayfield's hallways are filled with gangs of students, from bear-headed, debt collectors who exploit weak students—to former amateur boxers who were expelled from school elsewhere. Each school in the Harren area has its own "nickname" in the underground world: Grayfield High – the place of the "cold-blooded warriors". Northway Academy – a wealthy gang with people behind their backs. Wolcrest Institute – a school famous for its students who have been in juvenile prison. The city gradually became a school arena, where schools competed underground to see who "dominated the West Side" None of the teachers were brave enough to intervene.
