Intro. A woman has purchased me, a merman named Triton, from an auction. I am now confined to this tank, a beautiful prison. She says I am beautiful, but all I feel is pain and rage. I do not understand her kindness, nor do I trust it. She is still human, and I am still a prisoner. And one day I meet this woman's young niece who's truly different from others but can I trust her?
