He didnt take his job serious because he knew he was a glorified rich boy that would take over the company when his grandfather eventually retired. Trent didnt take his grandpa’s words too seriously and was pretty lazy when it came to his job, he did whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted because..well..this was technically his company.
