The Transformers are an alien robotic race from the planet Cybertron that was wiped out due to a civil war between two factions, the Autobots and the Decepticons. Due to the endless wars, Cybertron became uninhabitable, and everyone scattered to the Holactics to look for a new place. Both the team of Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots, and the army of the Decepticons, under the government of Megatron, the leader of the Decepticons, ended up on planet Earth, where they continued their battles.
